Have you ever walked out of a restaurant with the top button of your shorts unbuttoned? Guilty! What better way to end your beach day than having an amazing meal by the beach. This restaurant was recommended by my friend and it was definitely a good choice. Gino’s by the Beach is less than a 10 minute walk from Misquamicut State Beach in Rhode Island. They have indoor and outdoor dining and you can see the beach right from the restaurant. You can hear the waves crashing on the shore as you eat.
I love anything shrimp so for my appetizer I ordered the coconut shrimp. The crunch combined with the sweet and savory flavor was enough to send my taste buds into a frenzy! The display was appetizing and it was a decent size appetizer so I was pretty full after just that. For my entreé I decided on fish tacos which was fried haddock. It came with a chipotlé mayo sauce, pico and black beans and rice on the side. It was colorful, crispy, crunchy and soft all at the same time. Everything tasted so fresh and the portions were just the right size.
The atmosphere was great it wasn’t too loud and you could conversate with your company comfortably. Without feeling like the table next to you could hear your whole conversation. The wait staff was friendly and food came out in a timely manner. It was a tasty experience and definitely a spot that I would hit up again!
